About TRITON

TRITON® Water Monitoring System Deployment

New contaminants of concern, such as pesticides, prescription medications, personal care products, etc. are difficult for water treatment plants to detect and treat. This poses a serious challenge for water utilities, as do increasingly stringent regulatory guidelines put in place to protect human health and the environment. Sudden and unforeseen disruptions in source water quality and/or plant operations can dramatically affect the performance of critical water treatment processes which may result in elevated concentrations of these or other contaminants depending on the cause and severity of the disruption. It is therefore incumbent upon utilities to continuously monitor water quality at all stages of treatment.

The water analysis group at A.U.G Signals Ltd. is dedicated to helping operators and regulators monitor critical treatment parameters and newly emerging contaminants. In 2011 the company launched the TRITON Intelligent Water Surveillance® platform, an innovative system that combines superior signal processing, multi-source data fusion technologies and a high-resolution spectrometric system. The water monitoring system provides accurate water quality information and synthesizes sensor-acquired data streams – all in real-time.

Using the most advanced online water quality sensors, spectrometer and signal processing technologies, TRITON empowers government authorities and water facilities to preventively manage contamination events, effectively protecting public health, meeting World Health Organization (WHO) standards and avoiding the potential social and economic losses associated with these events.
