Environmental Water Monitoring

Environmental Water Monitoring - Oceans, Lakes, Rivers, and Ponds

Natural bodies of water, including oceans, lakes, rivers, and ponds are sensitive to degradation from human activities. Eutrophication and toxic algae blooms are a major problem around the world where agricultural runoff enters water bodies and can result in major fish die-offs, beach closures, and drinking water degradation. Natural water bodies are also highly sensitive to contaminants associated with industrial activities such as mining and smelting, petrochemicals, and pulp and paper, to name a few.

TRITON is fully compatible with any in-situ probe sensors on the market and can stand up to rigorous water conditions such as saltwater and highly turbid river water. Environmental parameters that can be monitored by TRITON include:

  • Turbidity/TSS
  • pH
  • Dissolved oxygen
  • Chlorophyll
  • Alkalinity
  • Nitrate + nitrite
  • + Others (inquire for your particular needs)
