TRITON, Intelligent Water Surveillance®, developed by A.U.G. Signals Ltd. (AUG) is an innovative system that combines superior signal processing, multi-source data fusion technologies and a high-resolution spectrometric system. The water monitoring system provides accurate water quality information and synthesizes all sensor-acquired data streams - all in real-time. TRITON empowers government authorities and water facilities to preventively manage contamination by providing real-time accurate water quality information, ensuring drinking water meets safety standards and effectively protecting public health.
Using the most advanced online water quality sensors, spectrometer and signal processing technologies, TRITON empowers government authorities and water facilities to preventively manage contamination events, effectively protecting public health, meeting World Health Organization (WHO) standards and avoiding the potential social and economic losses associated with these events.
TRITON can be made to monitor any continuously measurable parameter, contaminant, or operational parameter required for any type of water monitoring.
AUG's decades of experience in sensor fusion and TRITONs modular construction ensures that your system will remain relevant many years from now.
TRITON intelligently mitigates false alarms with alerting algorithms developed independently for each parameter.
TRITON is capable of providing advanced warning in cases where critical parameters threaten to exceed limits.
TRITON provides measurement results every minute which can be accessed from anywhere via AUG's Signal Fusion online interface.
TRITON can be custom-built to users' specifications with minimal invasiveness.
TRITON can be seamlessly integrated with existing sensors and data infrastructure, so there is no need to say good-bye to existing technologies with which you are still satisfied. At the same time, TRITON is fully compatible with any additional sensor(s) required for your unique application, and can be made to utilize any data transmission method or protocol users prefer, including Ethernet, Wi-Fi, LTE, analog, LoRa, ModBUS, HART, etc. Simply put: if a sensor exists on the market, TRITON can interface with it.
For customers looking for a turn-key solution, AUG can propose ready-made sensor suites optimized for your unique needs upon request with different pricing options available. AUG has carefully vetted a wide selection of water sensors from reputable manufacturers and will recommend only those which meet the company's high standards of accuracy, reproducibility, and overall user experience.
The water analysis group at A.U.G Signals Ltd. is dedicated to helping operators and regulators monitor critical treatment parameters and newly emerging contaminants. In 2011 the company launched the TRITON Intelligent Water Surveillance platform, which combines online sensors for conventional water parameters with AUG's proprietary spectrophotometric analysis of chemical contaminants. TRITON has since been deployed for "drinking water monitoring" in Beijing, China (for the duration of the 2014 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit); Lanzhou, China (since 2016); 20 remote indigenous communities in Northwest Ontario (since 2017); Genoa, Italy (since 2019); and Corinth, Greece (since 2021). AUG has also adapted TRITON to be used for different water monitoring applications in various pilot projects, including "agricultural runoff" (Southern Ontario and Bavaria, Germany, since 2018), "municipal wastewater" (Southern Ontario and Baden-Württemberg, Germany, since 2018), and "source water" (Southern Ontario, since 2022).
